Life Is Full

My laptop and very full calendar with the sticky notes of blog ideas. They are sitting on top of a puzzle my daughter just put together. I thing I'm gonna call this picture, "Pieces of My Life." Hahaha

My laptop and very full calendar with the sticky notes of blog ideas. They are sitting on top of a puzzle my daughter just put together. I think it’s appropriate to call this picture, “Pieces of My Life,” lol.

As some of you may have noticed, I have taken a much needed hiatus from the blogging world.  Last fall I had the best of intentions of putting some much needed time into my blog.  I wrote out blog ideas on sticky notes and posted them throughout my calendar.  My ideas stretched throughout April of this year.  Sometimes life throws curveballs.   We were hit with one of those curve balls last May.  Our ball had the name cancer on it.  Over the past 10 months, my typical busy homeschooling family has had a good bit of extra stress added to it.  Late last fall, things seemed to be getting worse.  Thankfully, since then, things have turned around.  But, needless to say, blogging has not been a priority to me.  Now, that the clouds seem to have cleared, I truly hope to resume my blog.  Things are still busy.  I still have four children in sports.  I still homeschool four children who are in very different stages of their education.  My husband will still be undergoing treatments.  But, for the first time in months, I feel as though things are manageable.  I don’t know how much I will be able to write, but we’ll find out because I’m itching to get started again!  Yesterday, I went through my calendar and pulled all the sticky notes out and placed them all out on an open page in my calendar to try to figure out where to go from here.  I may have posted a few stories from them, but mostly they are ideas, stories and adventures that were never posted.  So, you’ll being here from me soon!

  1. You are so right about life’s curveballs… and cancer is a big one. May your husband win his battle, and may you have the time and the energy to blog again soon. Best wishes.
